1. Critical Daily- Critical processes are those classified as member facing transactions with a hard deadline. Items such as ACHs and Share Drafts have the potential to impact your members finances and how they conduct day to day transactions
2. Essential Daily- Essential processes are critical non-member facing transactions requiting completion either before performing additional balancing, or helping your front line mitigate fraud, like maintaining your institution’s Outstanding Official Check Register.
3. Standard Daily- Even though these processes are not immediately member facing, nor critical to reconciling other GL accounts, these processes should be reconciled daily. By reconciling daily, your institution will be able to provide a clean set of reconciliations as requested by auditors and examiners.
